My plan when I launched BamaHipHop.Net was to display talent from my home state. It started off pretty good, but took a major dip. I hate to say it but the amount of talent that I have seen lately is average/below average. I guess my main problem with Alabama rappers is the lack of originality. To make a long story short, we sound like everybody else. So, my advice to any up-and-coming acts from the state of Alabama is to step outside of the box, find your own lane and be as original as possible.
